It’s not often that I run into a celebrity that I like. Matt Damon was cool to meet, so was Eddie Murphy.  But other than that, most of the ones I see, like Katherine Heigl are complete douche bags.  When I see a celeb out and about, I typically tell them I’m a fan, which most of the time is a lie.  In order to get them to let down their stupid guard, the best approach is always to be nice, tell them you’re a fan and you really enjoy their work.  Like when I saw ‘effing Katherine Heigl walking down my street with her kid and husband.  I told her I was a fan and a part of me died.  And even after telling her such a bold lie, she refused to let me take her picture… which I did anyway.  Here’s the pic.  Her douche husband Josh Kelly was explaining to me how they’re out with the kid and it’s really just family time.

Anyway, fast forward to today, where I ran into Lauren Graham at Coffee Bean.  I’m a big fan of her show Parenthood so for once it actually was a pleasure to meet an actor.  She was totally happy to pose for a picture even though she told me how bad she must look.  We talked for a bit about the show and why a show called, “Parenthood” is on at 10pm when most parents are pretty much passed out by that time.  Apparently DVR ratings are higher than the live ratings.  That’s because we’re all watching it at 6am, when we’re already 3 hours into out day!
